In their second preseason game vs the Lions, all eyes were on Hackenberg. Unfortunately, he was underwhelming. In three drives, Hackenberg was unconvincing going 2/6. Petty got the rest of the reps going 15-24. Overall it was a bad day for the quarterbacks. They lost 16-6.

Today was the first preseason game, Jets vs Titans at Metlife. As expected, McCown got the start followed by Hackenberg. It was a good day for McCown, leading an opening touchdown drive. Hackenberg was solid with a lot of short throws, going 18/25 for 127. The Jets got the win 7-3.

Training camp for the Jets just started. For the most part, it's going how people thought it would. Hackenberg is doing pretty good. The team is mostly young guys, so you'll definitely be seeing a lot of amazing flashes along with rookie mistakes.

The Jets just signed recently waived WR Lucky Whitehead who was recently released by the Dallas Cowboys. He was released in usual circumstances concerning a false accusation by police about a robbery. While he was proven innocent, he was still released. He should fill a role for the Jets on special teams.

The Jets are currently rebuilding. Even though I'm a fan ill admit they don't have much talent. Their best player is Leonard Williams, who is still a beast. The best case this year is that all the young players don't get injured and develop. Hopefully, either Hackenberg can be good or they tank so hard we get Sam Darold.
